ENJOY OUTDOOR THEATER IN THE ROUND. The audience is seated around a hexagonal stage which has long “boardwalks” that thrust out into the spaces between the audience creating an intimate “in the round” theatrical experience! The stage is set on the large lawn area directly to the east of the tasting room. There will be chairs for the audience to sit in. The actors voices are amplified for an optimal audio experience. Please note that when purchasing tickets from the ticketing page, the seating map is laid out traditionally with North being at the top of the page, South at the bottom, West on the left and East on the right.

ATTIRE:  Casual. Dress in layers. Climate varies nightly. Blankets are rented and sold at the event if you need them.

CHILDREN: Recommended for children 7 and up. Ages 7 and up permitted with parents and parental discretion advised. No children in strollers or babes in arms allowed. We recommend acquainting children with appropriate theatre behavior before coming. If you have any specific questions about the suitability of a show for your child, please contact our office at (925) 443-BARD.

ACCESSIBILITY: There are DESIGNATED HANDICAP PARKING SPOTS AT THE WENTE VENUE. Please note that all seats are removable and therefore any seat on the end of the rows can accommodate a wheelchair. We have also reserved ACCESSIBLE SEATS in the front on the end and close to the paved sidewalk. Please call (925) 443-BARD to reserve the ACCESSIBLE seats.
