Tuesday, June 21 6:30-8PM, Castro Valley Library Sneak Peek at the Castro Valley Library: Actors from Livermore Shakespeare Festival will give you an inside look at the preparations for the outdoor productions of Shakespeare’s The Tempest and Jane Austen’s Persuasion adapted by Jennifer Le Blanc. Scenes, insights and a Q;ampA will prepare you for the shows at Wente Estate Vineyard ;amp Tasting Room in Livermore running July 7 – August 7.

Producing Artistic Director Lisa Tromovitch and company members will share rehearsal strategies and practices, demonstrating some of the fascinating processes that create a professionally staged production.

Learn the tricks-of-the-trade of the professional approach to Shakespeare performance that makes the Livermore Shakes shows so accessible and alive. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

February 26, 7PM Livermore Civic Center Library, Shakespeare’s Associates Reader’s Theater presents A Good Year for Livermore Reads Together. Donna Blevins directs a cast of Shakespeare’s Associates volunteers in this adaptation of the book.
February 13, 14, and 15. Showings are 8PM on Friday and Saturday and 2PM on Sunday. Shakespeare’s Associates and The City of Dublin presents Sonnet Cafe at the Dublin Heritage Center Sunday School Barn. Shakespeare’s Associates performers will present a fun and romantic evening of sonnets and poems of passion in an intimate performance space in Dublin.

Wednesday, April 23rd, 7PM, Celebrate Shakespeare’s 450th Birthday with Shakes at Swirl. The celebration will include readings from Shakespeare and an open-mike segment so “Brush Up Your Shakespeare”! Price is $35 per person and includes the reading by Livermore Shakes artists, a glass of wine and a delicious and hearty “Tapas Sampler” plate.
Saturday, March 29th, Livermore’s Half Marathon. Shakespeare’s Associates volunteers will host a lively, Shakespearean water station for the runners at the inaugural Livermore Half Marathon.
Thursday, February 20th at 7PM Readers’ Theater: The Beekeeper’s Apprentice is Shakespeare’s Associates contribution to Livermore Reads Together at the Livermore Public Library. Donna Blevins directs a cast of Shakespeare’s Associates volunteers in this delightful adaptation of the book.
